Webhosting

This may be the wrong question for this site, but I'm wondering if anyone can give me advice on finding a host for a new website.  I am terrible at this.  I registered a domain name (jesbattis.com) with DNS, but now I need someone to host the page, and I don't know where to start.  I've built webpages before, that's not the problem, but they've always been for university sites where I was just given filespace.

Any advice--mucho appreciated!

Jes, nifty website. If you wouldn't mind another book to the stack, I'd love to send you a copy of Vintage. Even if you only plan on swatting flies with it.

Send away! Bookshelves aren't fun unless they're sagging. I just got addicted to the virtual bookshelf function on facebook...stay away from it!

Oh, I almost forgot...I saw 'Vintage' at my local queer bookstore! Little Sisters in Vancouver. It was sitting proudly on the fantasy shelf, and I was going to buy it, but I must have psychically known that you were going to send me a copy! Just as I know that you are in grave, grave danger....

Well, it's nice to know that they stock it, rather unexpected that you did not buy it at first instance, and maybe the danger will disrupt the ennui.

You can get one through sff.net, but I'm not sure it's the cheapest and it may not like the kind of code you use. Wow, that's incredibly helpful, isn't it? If I come up with anything else, I'll holler.
